Homemade Buffalo Chicken Pizza


Here is the beautiful homemade buffalo chicken pizza my friend and I made the other day. It is the Valentino’s pizza crust recipe from allrecipes.com Here is the recipe for the crust…

1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C) 1 tablespoon white sugar 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon salt 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1. Stir water, sugar and yeast together until dissolved. Add the olive oil and the salt. Stir in the flour until well blended. Let dough rest for 10 minutes. 2. Pat dough into pan or on to a pizza stone using fingers dipped in olive oil. If desired sprinkle basil, thyme or other seasonings on crust. Top with your favorite pizza toppings and bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a preheated 425 degree oven.

The sauce recipe is an original from myself. It’s a recipe I created when we ran out of tomato sauce.

Fresh tomatoes

basil

parsley

garlic

Parmesan cheese

a little bit of sugar

The tomato sauce recipe is something I just make to taste. I do not put specific measurements. The first time I ever made it I read the back of an old tomato sauce that was empty and put all the ingredients into a blender and blended them all together.

The chicken was cooked in hot sauce with some cayenne pepper, chili powder, paprika, and some other seasonings to taste. Then it was placed on the pizza before it was put into the oven to bake. Hope you try this and enjoy! Leave a comment below and tell me how you made it!
